Welcome to LAA Wiltshire Flyers
About Us
Welcome to the Wiltshire Flyers homepage.
The Wiltshire Flyers are part of the Light Aircraft Association.
(LAA Website : http://www.lightaircraftassociation.co.uk/index.html). We meet on the third Tuesday of the month at 7.30 at The Cross Keys pub at Wanborough near Swindon (SN4 0AP) to listen to guest speakers, always aviation themed; or just to get together and have a pint and a chat about things aeronautical.
You don't have to be an LAA member to join us, nor do you have to be a pilot or an aircraft owner or builder, just have an interest in light aircraft and general aviation, whether it be microlights, paragliders, paramotors, gliding, helicopters, group A aircraft (permit or C of A) or even model aircraft, you'll receive a warm welcome.
There are of course many pilots within the Wiltshire flyers and a few that are either building aircraft or restoring them to flying condition; we have an LAA inspector and flying instructors in our midst so there is a wealth of experience to draw upon should you wish to join us!
During the year we have our own charity fly-in held in September, have a couple of summer BBQs, guest speakers at the Cross Keys and Fly-outs to events across the country (some organised, some where we meet up without prior arrangement).
We look forward to meeting you at one of our events, if you have any question, please don't hesitate to contact us.

LAA Rally - Sywell 2012
Dudley, Martin and Tony have stepped forwarded to help plan the Home Builders tent for the 2012 Rally. It is a feature much missed but with a little planning and no doubt some help it should be easy enough to resurrect. Speak to Duds, Martin or Tony for more information as to how you can help
